Investment
Required
The
minimum fee for a Glass Doctor franchise is $24,000 for a territory containing
100,000 people. Additional territory can be purchased at a rate of $240 per
1,000 additional people. Glass Doctor may finance a portion of the initial

the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your
front-end investment could be substantially reduced.
On-going
Expenses
Glass
Doctor franchisees pay a license fee ranging from 4-7% of gross sales (subject
to a minimum), a MAP fee equal to 2% of gross sales (subject to a minimum) and
advertising cooperative contributions equal to a maximum of 2% of gross
sales. Other fees payable by the
franchisee include software training, support and maintenance fees. What You Get—Training
and Support Glass
Doctor offers the most in-depth training in the glass services industry at the nation’s
only full-service glass training facility, Glass Doctor University in Waco, TX.
During a 10-day basic training course new franchise owners learn about the
latest glass repair tools and technology, business operations systems, customer
service techniques and marketing methods. The first five days include two days
learning about The Dwyer Group system and three days learning about the Glass
Doctor system. Participants then have two days of hands-on experience learning the
best practices of flat glass and auto glass repair, as well as a day of experience
with customized business management software. New franchise owners engage in
real-world application of this training by job shadowing customer service
representatives, outside sales representatives and glass service technicians at
a major Glass Doctor location for two days. After the formal basic training,
Sure Start Franchise Consultants guide new franchisees as they open their shops. Glass
Doctor University offers additional training sessions throughout the year for
franchise owners to improve their team’s skills, including customer service,
outside sales, and technical training for both flat glass and auto glass. Glass
Doctor also provides online technical training through MyGlassClass.com, a
service of the National Glass Association. Glass Doctor supplies on-going
advice and assistance to franchisees as needed, in addition to refresher
training programs, seminars, regional meetings and related activities regarding
the operation of their franchise. Glass Doctor provides professionally prepared
