Investment
Required
The
fee for a Great Harvest franchise is $35,000. Great
Harvest provides the following range of investments required to open your
initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To
the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your
front-end investment could be substantially reduced.
On-going
Expenses
Great
Harvest franchisees pay royalty fees equal to 4-7% of monthly gross sales. What You Get—Training
and Support Great
Harvest franchisees spend at least three weeks on the road in bakeries and in
Dillon, MT at the home office for pre-opening training. “Location hunters? and
project managers provide support during the pre-opening process, and fellow
bakery owners share their secrets of success as they teach new franchisees to make
whole grain products using proven systems. During Dillon Learning Week,
franchisees learn what goes into a successful bakery. For
the first 6 to 12 months after opening, franchisees work closely with a
specialist who helps maintain and grow their bakeries. Franchisees are also
provided with ongoing marketing support, production guidance, training
materials for employees, recipe development, practical business advice, expert
field visits and a group-purchasing program. Great Harvest franchisees benefit
from an annual convention, the Breadboard intranet service, newsletters, e-mail
bulletins from the field and regular phone contact with field representatives. Territory
Great
Harvest grants exclusive territories. |
