The APlus
convenience store franchise program is offered by Sunoco Inc., a brand which

service outstanding in its responsiveness and for conducting business with the

Investment
Required
The
fee for a Sunoco APlus franchise is $30,000. Sunoco
APlus provides the following range of investments required to open your initial
franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent
that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end
investment could be substantially reduced. Sunoco may make financing available to
qualifying franchisees. The
following figures refer to a 1,300-2,499 square foot type “A” (premises not
leased from Sunoco) store. On-going
Expenses
Sunoco
APlus franchisees pay monthly royalty fees ranging from 4-15% of gross sales,
depending on whether or not the premises are leased from Sunoco and whether or
not the store is open 24 hours a day.
These royalty fees are subject to monthly minimums of $1,000 for stores
not leased by Sunoco and $2,000 for stores which are leased by Sunoco. Franchisees also pay a monthly base fee
(currently $5,925), a monthly economic fee, a monthly advertising fee (currently
$650) and computer hardware and software installation and maintenance fees. What You Get—Training

years of operations experience, Sunoco is able to provide a wealth of knowledge
and a full team of experts to assist franchisees. Franchisees complete a six-week
comprehensive training program featuring in-class sessions with professional
trainers in a state-of-the-art APlus facility. Hands-on experience with APlus
business systems is provided to teach the necessary elements for petroleum
convenience retail store operations. The program instruction includes
merchandising and inventory control, accounting and financial management,
personnel management and sales promotion. In addition, a fleet of mobile
training van classrooms provide on-site, ongoing training. APlus
offers a wide variety of business support tools and services to help
franchisees optimize sales and profits. Exceptional accounting and financial
management assistance, marketing research and support and store performance
feedback are part of the overall support provided. Area Marketing Managers and
Regional Sales Managers are available to offer business consulting to franchisees
and to help the brand grow. Recommended solutions for Point-of-Sale and
Back-Office systems and connections with vendors that both supply and support
the latest technologies in the industry are also available. APlus Franchisees
have 24/7 access to a fully secure proprietary web site designed specifically
