| Athlete's Foot, The With
more than 30 years of franchising experience in over 40 countries, The Athlete’s
Foot is the world’s premier franchisor of athletic footwear stores. It is a
recognizable yet flexible concept that fits into malls, strip centers and streetfront
locations in both large and small cities. Its brand-name strength translates to
appeal across diverse demographics, and its global buying power and unique business
model allows franchisees to tailor their inventory of footwear and apparel to
local tastes. To
assist customers in finding the best-fitting footwear at every store, Athlete’s
Foot’s FitPrint System measures and analyzes each person’s foot and factors in
arch type and pressure points. This proprietary technology is used to find the
ideal shoe for customers and provides the franchisee with a competitive edge in
the marketplace. The Athlete’s Foot is part of NexCen Brands, which manages six
franchised brands in the QSR and retail industries; including Great American
Cookies, Marble Slab Creamery, MaggieMoo’s, Pretzelmaker and Shoebox, New York.
NexCen franchises total approximately 1,900 franchised stores in 42 countries.
