Investment
Required
The
fee for a Comfort Keepers franchise is $32,500. Comfort
Keepers provides the following range of investments required to open your
initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To
the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your
front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

Comfort
Keepers franchisees pay a royalty fee based on monthly gross revenues (with a
minimum royalty fee of $300 per month). There is a provision for descending royalty from 5% to as low as 3%. The base royalty rate is 5% of revenue. When plateau levels are achieved, royalty on incremental sales above plateaus may drop to as low as 3%. Other fees include a local advertising fee equal
to a minimum of $1,000 monthly. What You Get—Training
and Support Franchisees
complete a comprehensive eight-day training course that helps them jump-start
their business operations. This initial training course consists of an in-depth
review of the company’s operations manual in a classroom environment and
role-playing activities, based on case studies, in the areas of human
resources, client administration and networking. Corporate headquarters provides
on-going support, and regional operations managers give hands-on assistance to
increase business growth. Franchisees can exchange ideas with one another at
state, regional and national meetings. The network of hundreds of Comfort
Keepers around the world produces collective knowledge and understanding among
franchisees. Comfort Keepers also maintains a franchisee website, which offers
a library, training resources, news, information, and online communication
opportunities with other owners. Advertising
guidance and support is provided at the local and national levels, with
assistance from a leading PR firm. Comfort Keepers gives franchisees a
guidebook that outlines the marketing process and recruitment advertisements,
as well as includes templates for print advertisements, ready-to-print press
