Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin Donuts is the top retailer of coffee by the cup in America, with almost 1 billion cups sold every year. William Rosenberg founded the company in Massachusetts in 1950. Since then, Dunkin Donuts has become famous for not just its donuts, but also its menu of various baked goods, such as muffins, bagels and MUNCHKINS donut holes. Its beverages are also popular, and include basics like fresh, hot coffee (nine flavors available), as well as proprietary drinks like COOLATTA. As the largest coffee and baked goods chain in the world, Dunkin Donuts sells 4 million donuts and 2.7 million cups of coffee every day. Its 6,000 outlets around the world, about 4,400 of which are located in North America, have built strong, international brand recognition and market presence.

As part of Dunkin Brands, a family that also includes Baskin-Robbins and Togos, franchisees have the opportunity to develop stores that combine Dunkin Donuts with another brand to expand their customer bases. Such innovative combo stores have redefined the quick-service experience for customers and establish the framework for future growth.
