Investment
Required
The
fee for a Spring-Green Lawn Care franchise ranges from $30,000 to $40,000 and
depends on the number of single family dwelling units in the territory. Spring-Green
Lawn Care provides the following range of investments required to open your
initial franchise. Because Spring-Green franchisees typically their lease vehicles, equipment and most of their computer hardware and software, the costs listed for these items represent the initial lease payment for those items that can be leased.
On-going
Expenses
Spring-Green
Lawn Care franchisees pay weekly royalty fees on a sliding scale ranging from
8-10% of gross sales. Royalty fees per
calendar year are calculated as follows: franchisees pay royalty fees equal to
10% for the first $250,000 of gross sales, 9% for gross sales in excess of
$250,000 up to and including $500,000, and 8% for gross sales in excess of
$500,000. Additional fees payable by the
franchisee include advertising fund contributions equal to 2% of gross sales, a
regional advertising fee equal to up to 2% of gross sales (if 50% of franchisees in a region vote in favor of the formation of such a fee) and computer and
software license and support fees. What You
Get—Training and Support
Prior
to initial training, Spring-Green starts franchisees off with a variety of
tasks such as creating a business plan, securing financing and building a market plan. This is
followed by a comprehensive training program including a week of classroom
training covering the basics of operation, marketing and sales, computer and
software operations, agronomics and safety.
After
training, the franchisee is assigned a support representative in
Spring-Green’s dedicated franchise support department. Spring-Green also conducts multiple visits to
the franchisee to improve field operations, and provides ongoing online
training for the franchisee and other employees. Territory
