Mr. Electric Corp.

Mr. Electric provides electrical repairs and services to residential, commercial and moderately sized industrial customers. Mr. Electric has formed national alliances with electrical manufacturers and trains franchisees to work with, among other things, outlets and circuits, breakers and fuses, service panel upgrades, inside/outside lighting, ceiling fan installation, surge protection, exhaust fans and smoke detectors. Customers appreciate Mr. Electrics prompt service, professionalism, skill, round-the-clock availability and dedication to honesty, security and safety. Instead of costs based on time and materials, Mr. Electric uses a unique menu pricing system, which allows customers to see the prices of services ahead of time.

Investment Required
The fee for a Mr. Electric franchise is $19,500 for a territory with population of 100,000. Additional territory may be purchased at a cost of $195 per additional 1,000 people.

Mr. Electric provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

On-Going Expenses
Mr. Electric franchisees pay royalties equal to 3% to 6% of gross sales and national advertising fees equal to 2% of gross sales. Ongoing costs also include an cooperative advertising fee that may equal up to 2% of gross sales and maintenance and support fees for computer equipment and proprietary software.

What You GetTraining and Support
Franchisees receive comprehensive business, marketing and management training, and ongoing training on new industry developments is available to keep technicians up to date. After operations begin, franchisees may simply contact a Franchise System Manager for help and consultation. Additional benefits, like employee health care, health plans and life insurance are offered through a third party vendor.

Mr. Electrics support also includes a series of integrated systems detailed business practices for subjects such as operations, marketing and advertising, human resources, finance and business. Mr. Electric also offers a full line of training materials (manuals, audio, video), an annual convention, regional meetings, site visits, Z-Ware management software and sales and product training. Franchisees have access to a variety of Mr. Electric supplies, forms and documents, which make business processes more efficient to manage, as well as professionally designed promotional items such as custom-decaled service vans and marketing materials are also provided.

Territory

Mr. Electric grants exclusive territories with an approximate minimum population of 100,000 and an approximate maximum population of 1.5 million people.
