Papa Murphy's

As the fastest growing Take ‘N’ Bake pizza franchise in the world, Papa Murphy’s presents a unique opportunity in the restaurant business. Papa Murphy’s pizzas are handmade with freshly prepared dough and high-quality toppings daily, but unlike most pizza chains, customers take the unbaked pizza home for a piping hot, delicious meal at their convenience.  Papa Murphy’s is easier to operate than most chains in the industry and requires much less space for three reasons: no ovens, no delivery and no dine-in.  Eliminating these three things makes Papa Murphy’s a much more affordable investment than many other comparable franchises.

Voted Best Pizza Chain in America 6 times in a row by consumers, Papa Murphy’s is known for value, as its reduction in overhead leads to savings that can be passed on to customers.  Papa Murphy’s customers enjoy lower prices with higher quality toppings and a fresh-from-the-oven taste.  Papa Murphy’s pioneered the take and bake concept, and continues to stay on the cutting edge, constantly testing new products and exploring new ways to maximize sales for franchise owners.

What You Get—Training and Support

Initial training includes a weeklong class at corporate headquarters in Vancouver, WA and extensive in-store training at a certified store.  Hands-on training covers all aspects of working in a Papa Murphy’s store, including supervising a crew and administrative functions.  The franchisee is also instructed in understanding employer-employee relationships, recruitment, retention, selection, weekly sales reports and marketing.  A detailed food sanitation course is included.

Papa Murphy’s assists the franchisee in site selection and lease negotiation.  A franchise consultant visits the franchise site during the construction process to ensure that it is completed on time, on budget and built to specifications. After the store opens, Papa Murphy’s continues to support franchisees through weekly phone contact, regularly scheduled store visits, sales tracking and regular newsletters.

Papa Murphy’s marketing department provides assistance in every aspect of franchise marketing to build brand awareness and retail sales.  Marketing materials available to the franchisee include radio and television commercials, print and point-of-sale materials, online templates and graphic support.

Territory

Papa Murphy’s does not grant exclusive territories.
