Lawn Care franchisees pay weekly royalty fees on a sliding scale ranging from
8-10% of gross sales.Royalty fees per
calendar year are calculated as follows: franchisees pay royalty fees equal to
10% for the first $250,000 of gross sales, 9% for gross sales in excess of
$250,000 up to and including $500,000, and 8% for gross sales in excess of
$500,000.Additional fees payable by the
franchisee include advertising fund contributions equal to 2% of gross sales, a
regional advertising fee equal to up to 2% of gross sales (if 50% of franchisees in a region vote in favor of the formation of such a fee) and computer and
software license and support fees.

Get—Training and Support
Prior
to initial training, Spring-Green starts franchisees off with a variety of
tasks such as creating a business plan, securing financing and building a market plan.This is
followed by a comprehensive training program including a week of classroom
training covering the basics of operation, marketing and sales, computer and
software operations, agronomics and safety.
After
training, the franchisee is assigned a support representative in
Spring-Green’s dedicated franchise support department.Spring-Green also conducts multiple visits to
the franchisee to improve field operations, and provides ongoing online
training for the franchisee and other employees.
