Investment Required

The fee for a U.S. Lawns franchise is $29,000. U.S. Lawns will finance up to 70% of the initial franchise fee for qualifying franchisees.

 

U.S. Lawns provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced.

U.S. Lawns franchisees pay royalty fees ranging from 3-4% of all gross billings, depending on monthly gross billings and an advertising fee equal to 2% of gross contract billings ($275 monthly maximum).

 

What You Get—Training and Support

U.S. Lawns’ comprehensive training program encompasses all aspects of business and the landscape management industry.   Training begins with six days of start-up training at the U.S. Lawns corporate training center in Orlando, FL, where franchisees learn a series of best practices from experts in all areas of the landscape business. Areas that are covered include:  Financial Management, Bidding and Estimating, Crew Training, Quality Control, Routing and Scheduling, Purchasing, and more.  Training also covers management procedures for running a profitable business, including all aspects of employee hiring, training and performance.  Following this, franchisees complete additional days of local training, with a strong emphasis placed on the customer acquisition process. Franchisees learn how to business network in their local market, make proposal presentations, and develop strategies for growing their business.

Following opening, U.S. Lawns continues to support franchisees by providing one-on-one mentoring from industry experts, professional marketing materials and marketing programs, corporate-sponsored purchasing support and administrative support. Franchisees have the opportunity to network and share ideas with peers and other owners at group meetings, regional meetings and at the U.S. Lawns Annual Conference.  As a member of the U.S. Lawns family, franchisees benefit from a uniform brand image cultivated through national advertising and a listing on the U.S. Lawns website which provides wide exposure to potential clients.
