The Japan Frachise Association (JFA) is a public corporation established in April 1972 under the auspices of the Ministery of International Trade and Industry. Its primary aims are to foster healthy growth of the franchise business, to contribute to the improvement of management in companies engaged in the food service, retailing and service industry, and to work towards the rationalization of the industry.
