Investment
Required
The
fee for a Spherion franchise is $25,000. Spherion offers financing for current
Spherion associates and potential franchisees with at least 5 years of
experience in the staffing industry in a sales or recruiting role. Spherion
provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise.
The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you
choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could
be substantially reduced.

Expenses
Spherion
franchisees pay a monthly commission split equal to 25% of temporary gross
profits (the rate declines as sales grow), a monthly commission split equal to
12% of full-time placement sales, a national advertising fee equal to 0.25% of
sales and a required local marketing expenditure equal to 1% of temporary and
full-time sales. Additional fees include a monthly computer system support fee
and a fee for payroll and billing services performed by the franchisor What You
Get—Training and Support
All
new franchisees must successfully complete Spherion’s comprehensive training
program, which consists of on-site, online and classroom-based training.
Training topics covered include operations, risk management, sales and
marketing. In addition, Spherion provides its franchisees with ongoing training
and support through a dedicated Spherion representative, who gives franchisees
in-office sales and marketing training. Each
franchisee is assigned an operations director familiar with all the facets of
the business. The operations director will continue to help franchisees
throughout their tenure with Spherion. Additionally, Spherion offers a variety
of resources through its superior intranet and periodic national and regional
meetings covering the subjects of sales, advertising, operating procedures,
