Growth Strategy

From its inception, Wingstop has operated as a restaurant company that is expanding through franchise distribution. The growth of Wingstop is fueled by the success of our brand-partners stores. While emphasizing fresh made-to-order food and customer service, we have developed and refined an extremely efficient operating system with the brand-partner in mind. We consider our franchise owners to be brand-partners. As such, they play an integral part in the development of the Wingstop brand.

Our uniqueness is enhanced by our hours of operation, 4pm to midnight. This allows us to serve our target customers at times when the demand for our food is at its peak. It also allows our brand-partners the opportunity to have an extremely viable business without compromising their quality of life.

Our relationship with our brand-partners, innovation, experience, unique product mix and our 1930's-1940's aviation theme will all continue to be key in our ability to position Wingstop as the market leader.

Training

Prior to opening, the Wingstop Training Program consists of a planned intensive, two-week orientation to the system. Two weeks of the program are completed at our corporate location. Prior to and upon opening, a Training and Operations instructor will spend 4-7 days with our brand partners in their new store.

The training is comprehensive and hands-on. Classes provide the essentials of restaurant operations, hospitality, labor management, administration, marketing, food preparation and customer relations. Other subjects of interest will include sanitation principles, employee relations and retention, interviewing and hiring advertising, as well as a variety of other topics you will need to operate a Wingstop successfully. The two-week training program also includes an owner simulation, in which you run a store as if it were your own.

Support

Our main focus has always been and always will be on the food. Developing a restaurant system through franchise distribution allows us to focus on the growth and development of our brand partners. Our field operations consultants can focus all of their attention on our brand-partners from initial training to ongoing support. These professionals aid our brand-partners by providing advice and counsel in all aspects of the Wingstop Operating System. The partnership that is formed truly helps brand-partners develop into restaurant professionals.

Marketing & Advertising

Wingstop has marketing and advertising professionals on staff to assist our brand-partners in local area marketing. Wingstop creates advertising materials for use in all areas of advertising, including television. We provide guidelines and advice for advertising, promotions and the utilization of the trademarks. Our marketing & advertising professionals provide ideas and materials to assist the Wingstop system with sales, promotions, public relations and the branding of our image and products.

Real Estate

Wingstop assists in all aspects of site selection. After a development area has been assigned, brand-partners are provided with professional real estate assistance. We also provide you with features to look for in a store location. Wingstop may also visit selected sites to evaluate and critique their suitability, as well as the lease proposals. Wingstops operate most effectively in strip shopping centers, which relieves you of looking for more expensive destination shopping or freestanding locations.

Design & Construction

Our extensive experience led to the design of the aviation-themed décor of our Wingstop restaurants. Our facilities have a high degree of curb appeal, inviting to the eye of potential patrons. Our experience in restaurant design allows us to custom design restaurants to fit almost any space.

We assist you in every aspect of design and construction. Our in-house architect has planned and designed all of the Wingstops to date. The architect will assist in the selection of a general contractor. This allows us to screen bids and provide you with information to make "apples-to-apples" comparisons of bids. The architect will also function as a construction manager for the duration of the project.

We supply and install the décor package in every store. We will also provide you with a vendor list detailing all the furniture, fixtures and equipment needed to complete your Wingstop.

Who is a Wingstop brand-partner?

One of the most important aspects to consider in searching for the right company with which to partner is the fit. You will know the right fit because it will share your goals, dreams and desires.
